Michelle will be part of the Girls Read Too program being run by the Centre for Youth Literature in Melbourne on Tuesday, 3rd of August (for teachers) and Wednesday, 4th of August (for secondary school girls, Years 7 to 11). You can find out more at Read Alert.

Michelle will be signing books at the Children's Book Council of Australia's conference in Sydney on Friday, 18th of June, between 1:15pm and 2:15pm.
Michelle will be speaking at the NSW Writers' Centre Festival of Children's and Young Adult Writing in Sydney on Saturday, 3rd of July.

The FitzOsbornes in Exile, the second book in The Montmaray Journals series, is scheduled to be published in hardcover and as an audiobook in North America in April, 2011. A Brief History of Montmaray will be released as a paperback in North America in March, 2011.

A Brief History of Montmaray is on the American Library Association's 2010 Best Books for Young Adults list.
The North American audiobook version of A Brief History of Montmaray, read by Emma Bering, is now available on CD and as a downloadable audiobook from Random House Audio.

A Brief History of Montmaray, the first in a series of novels set in 1930s Europe, is out now in Australia and New Zealand, published by Random House Australia. It will be published in North America in 2009 by Alfred A. Knopf Books. You can read more about the book here.
